Patrick D. Smith dead at 87

Patrick-Smith Pulitzer Prize and Noble Prize-nominated author, Patrick D. Smith died on Sunday, January 26 at the age of 87.
“A Land Remembered” is a historical fiction novel about a family in Florida, spanning from 1858-1968. Mr. Rosen, president of the Rosen Hotels and Resort, was so inspired by this book, that he named one of his premier restaurants “A Land Remembered”. The cuisine at this restaurant celebrates classic Florida, using only the finest of ingredients such as Harris Ranch all Natural Prime Black Angus Beef. Florida Travel ChannelI have visited Rosen Shingle Creek Resort during video production starring celebrity chef Emily Ellyn in May, 2013, where I had an opportunity to meet fantastic staff and culinary artists of this signature restaurant.
Patrick D. Smith and his novel A Land Remembered legacy will continue.
