Books and Cooks signing event was organized by the Winter Park Public Library at the Alfond Inn. Attendees had a great opportunity to meet local Celebrity Chefs and got some of their favorite cook books signed. The author panel included John Rivers of the 4Rivers Smoke House and the Coop, Brandon McGlamery of the Luma and the Prato, Hollis Wilder of the Sweet by Holly, Norman Van Aken of the Norman’s at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, and Richard Gonzmart of the Columbia Restaurants.
On March 4th, Rosen Hotels and Resorts held the 13th annual Golden Pillar Awards where best of the best associates were recognized for their outstanding service and commitment to excellence. Rosen Hotels and Resort is a chain of seven amazing properties owed by Orlando’s philanthropist Harris Rosen. It is a great honor to be nominated for the Golden Pillar, because it is decided by the peers. What a special evening it was where nominees got to dress up, walk a red carpet and of course have an amazing dishes prepared by Executive Chef of Rosen Plaza Michael McMullen.
